I have been providing professional pet care services including dog training, dog walking, and pet sitting to Sacramento and surrounding areas since 2002. I am committed to providing a safe and fun experience for both you and your best friend. Our team of dog walkers and sitters is made up of animal lovers who are highly experienced dog handlers and are certified in emergency pet first aid. We are fully bonded and insured within the city of Sacramento. A little about me…. My name is Dani and I am the PROUD owner of Dani’s Pawsitive Pet Care and Campbell Clan Bostons, here in Sacramento, CA. I am Professional Animal Lover (Pet sitter), Show Breeder, and Mom. I am a member in good standing with the National Assoc. of Professional Pet sitters (NAPPS), the Boston Terrier Club of America, and Sierra Gold Boston Terrier Club of Nor Cal. I was actually raised on a farm in Southern CA. My family use to show American Fox trotters, bred and showed various dog breeds, participated in Future Farmers of America (FFA), and 4-H. As a teen I would help our local Equine Vet, Dr. Connoly. I’ve raised everything under the sun, including a variety of reptiles, bred my own mice and rabbits, and have even nursed a hummingbird back to health. I truly owe my love of animals to my mom. Our home is nestled in the “Rosemont” area of East Sacramento, I share my home with a couple of human kids, Gunner (13), and Gillian (16), and our resident Bostons. We also have a Bengal Kitten, Pickles, aka "babyCat. My children have been immersed in my animal loving lifestyle since they were infants, so much so that my children thought they were puppies when they were little. They both have an immense love for animals. Our family is very active in our community. I have been involved in the Show/obedience venue since 1989. Gillian, competes in AKC Junior Showmanship and has an apprenticeship under Professional Dog Handler, Lauren House. Gunner, is my little photographer as he enjoys going to the dog shows to take pictures and loves taking snapshots of our boarding client dogs. Both of the children love animals and helping with our temporary fur kids. Quite often you will find them helping mom. Gunner will often come with me on my Drop in’s to client homes and on dog walks. I take great pride in our dogs and the services I extend to our clients. I have many references that will vouch for my integrity and expertise, all you have to do is ask! I do specialize in brachycephalic pets (squishy faced); however, I care for all types of dogs and cats. I take great pride in providing an environment that our pet families can feel confident about. Their fur kids become our fur kids. I am in the business of reassuring frightened dogs and cats, and stressed-out pet parents that everything will be fine while mom or dad is away. The animals are always comforted with having the same pet caregiver and are excited to see their friends when visiting. They leave contented and tired from all the excitement they had while visiting!
