Introduction
I have Bachelors of Arts degree in Math / Secondary Education from University of California, San Diego. I have an experience as tutor / apprentice at several middle schools and as a teaching assistant at San Jose City College. I have had great experiences and an opportunity to work with students of diverse cultures. I have tutored and can tutor K-12 math, science (except physics), college-level calculus, and prep for ACT and SAT tests in mathematics.
Teaching is a passion for me. I find that with one-on-one tutoring, students are able to ask more questions and stay focused longer. I love the moment when I witness that the student really understood the concept I am trying to teach. I provide students with variety of problem solving methods, and strive to help them learn. My greatest value to the students is that I provide the necessary background on the subject and the necessary tools for the students to be successful.
