As my new windows were being installed , it was discovered that the middle bedroom window had severe dry rot/water damage under the window. The window company we used does not deal with repair of this type of damage. The new window could not be installed properly unless this rot was repaired first. I was in a panic to try to find someone to repair this as soon as possible, as the installation of the window depended on that being repaired first. I checked Thumbtack., and read the great reviews on Cali Siding. I contacted them, and received a response quickly from Aleksandr, the owner . He said he would come out the next day to check it. He lives in Roseville and I am in Newark, which is a long way to come. Aleksandr came right on time, evaluated the wood rot, plus the other areas of siding that needed to be repaired . When I had initially contacted him, he informed me that it may be three weeks before he could do our job . However, thankfully, after assessing the situation, Aleksandr was able to squeeze us in the very next day to take care of the dry rot , the worst damage. He was so considerate to acknowledge that our new window installation depended upon that area being repaired. He also was able to work his schedule to accommodate the rest of our siding repairs the day after. So, within my initial contact with Aleksandr, all the work was completed in two days! I was so extremely impressed and grateful to Aleksandr and all his crew, who were each such hard working individuals, punctual, polite, efficient and skilled in their work. After getting bids from numerous companies, Dmitriy of Diamond Exterior Renovations gave me what I felt like the best option, he explained everything in detail and showed me samples of what it would look like. All together I wanted to change the soffit skirting that was previously installed, get new siding, close off 2 windows, close off 1 door, and cut in a new window. Not only did They do all of that, but they did it for almost half the price of certain bids. He also suggested to install another layer of insulation underneath the siding to make the interior walls cooler in the heat. I couldn't be happier with the over all outcome & would highly recommend Diamond Exterior Renovations for any siding needs, and window replacement options."See more

Replacing the siding on my home is the biggest home renovation I have undertaken and the house now looks great! It took me months of research and multiple estimates to narrow down a contractor to perform the work, Dalv Siding stood out. Initially, Aleksandr gave me a step-by-step estimate of the work for two options. I then did my independent research, and I formulated many questions for Aleksandr, which he quickly answered. I decided on James Hardie siding. The contract was updated and finalized. The detailed step-by-step contract allowed me to follow where they were in the installation process. Aleksandr and his crew did an excellent job on the siding. His workers were efficient and did a nice job tidying up at the end of the day. Aleksandr was very responsive throughout the process and was often on-site. At the end of the job, the yard was left very tidy. Aleksandr did a final walkthrough to ensure that the work was up to his standards. Choosing Dalv Siding was a wise choice for me and based on my positive experience I highly recommend this company.
