While gathering information for my personal and business tax returns, Colin asked me more questions than what I am used to. The result was a way more thorough tax return than what I am used to, very detailed, very complete and I could not be happier. 2014 was the first year that I actually paid someone else to do my taxes, and it was the same year that I founded my LLC. It was a very scary prospect of making sure that I was not only ready but focused on finding the right tax preparation specialist. I have a hectic schedule, but Colin found time to ensure that my taxes were prepared properly, and even found an instance where I had paid too much to the California Franchise Tax Board. HE DID A GREAT JOB, HE FOUND THAT H&R BLOCK DIDN'T PUT THE CORRECT DEPRECIATION OF MY RENTAL IN MY 2015 TAXES!! THEY WERE OFF BY $4000.00!!!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing system is very simple. My fees are flat rate and include both federal & state tax returns. The fees are based upon the type of return and the complexity of that return.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The initial consultation is no-cost so that the potential client can evaluate me and I can decide if I want to take the case. If I am hired, we agree on a price and we work together to get the job done.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In order to keep my Enrolled Agent credentials up to date, I take continuing education classes each year in accordance with the IRS requirements to do so.
