FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fee for service is $250/visit. Sessions last 50 minutes and are done through Zoom.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attained my Bachelor’s degree at Princeton University. I then studied at the American School for Professional Psychology, earning a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. During my graduate program, I did 2 year-long trainings (20 hours/week) while taking classes. I was trained in children and families. I worked with underprivileged populations in Richmond, CA and San Jose, CA. I then earned 3000 licensure hours, working as an intern at Uplift Family Services in Sacramento, CA. I took the licensure exam after completing my hours, passed, and opened up my private practice in 2017. I trained at the Parnell Institute to become an EMDR specialist, at the start of my new adventure as a licensed therapist (LMFT). I fell in love with EMDR and have embraced this approach to treatment since that time, and have counseled thousands of patients with this modality. I also do expert witness work.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I experienced my own therapy after graduating from Princeton in 2005. I had time to self-reflect and evaluate what it was that I wanted to do with my life. I learned tools for managing life stressors and emotions, which made my life significantly more manageable. Therapy had such a significant effect on me that I wanted to become a therapist, so that I could provide that to others.
