We have been hiring Nick for all our sessions since I can remember. From new-born photos to 4ft wide Canvas Prints. The photo-shoot experience can be described as friendly, professional, input comprehending. But the most important note are his final prints: he does a lot of work to make every detail of every photo sparkle with awesomeness. He wont just snap 100 photos and give you the output of the equipment, he will literally go thru photo by photo tweaking, editing, correcting.
My relatives and I hired him for family sessions (several times), and large canvas prints. But the first job he has done was our wedding photos -- No, we didn't hire Nick for the wedding, the guy we hired was really bad, lost some photos, and never edited or printed any photos he actually had. We waited months for the original photographer, but after hundreds of promises, I had enough. I took whatever garbage this guy called photos, and handed them to Nick at Nixlan. Photographers will almost never work with someone else photos - Nick saved my wedding.

My Fiancée and I hired Nick Nixlan for our wedding and he has to be one of the best in Sacramento, or at least on his way up. His pricing is very reasonable and the quality is unmeasurable. Let me tell you this man is a gentle man and will keep you and your bride happy and giggling for all of your photos. His taste and perspective brings a unique view that we couldn't seem to find in other professional photographers. He worked with our budget and delivered outstanding quality images and wonderful memories for my growing family!
I recommend anyone looking for a honest wedding photographer with REAL knowledge about how to operate a camera and deliver outstanding quality, call. You will not be disappointed.

Nixlan has done several photo sessions for my family and the experience has always been enjoyable. This photographer can weasel a smile out of anyone in the shot and service is always polite and of great quality. The prices are very reasonable and he goes above and beyond to give high quality work!

Very professional and cheerful at the same time. Nick helped us made our wedding photo session fun and easy even if it was hot and tiring day.
