FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I’m pretty scheduled these days. I currently teach 8 group classes/week at various locations throughout the Sacramento area plus sub classes for fellow teachers. I also have one or two ongoing private lessons/week so I’m not taking on a lot more. One way to save money is to come to one of my group classes, either before or after attending a private lesson with me.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to talk with them for at least a few moments to assess their needs and expectations of yoga--what they hope to take away from the experience so I can modify my teaching.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have the basic yoga teacher certification (200 hour RYT). Last year I became certified as a Yoga for Healthy Aging instructor. I completed 50 hours of training to teach Yin yoga with Bernie Clark in Vancouver, BC In 2018. I have over 2000 hours of teaching experience giving me the experience registered yoga teacher (ERYT) designation. Before I became a yoga teacher, I was a research scientist so I have a PhD in Physiology (how the body functions).
