- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My hourly rate is $50. Though, often, it is difficult to set an hourly rate. I prefer to quote on a per-project basis. Because your needs are unique and you have specific expectations, projects vary widely in terms of density and scope; therefore, when quoting a project I consider: The nature of the content The desired word count and/or length The amount of research I'll need to complete to become an expert on the topic The estimated amount of time the project will take to complete I believe in providing a level of excellence that exceeds expectations and meets the highest degree of quality. My work corresponds with my rates which are fair and competitive.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Often, I take an online course to update my skills and I have recently participated in online webinars that I find useful or sometimes just catch my interest.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always been interested in writing and took many college courses on different types of media, from public relations and advertising to creative writing.
