My project involved special complications as I wanted to legalize a part of my house which was built without necessary city permits before I bought the house. The zHeight Team helped me understand the process of legalization with the city. While the process was complex, they were able to not only deliver high-quality house plans for submissions but also help me navigate the process. They went out of their way to research engineering requirements from the city and helped me get the permits at a very reasonable price without the need to hire an engineer separately. They are very client-centric and focused on client's outcomes. I would recommend zHeight highly for your home design/city permits needs.

We worked with Vidushi and the zHeight team to design and build a covered patio for our new home. We wanted the covered patio to look like it was built and designed as part of our new build home. We are in the east bay and the zHeight team is from the peninsula, Bay Area. We were initially concerned that the team is not familiar with the East Bay's rules and regulation but soon discovered we had nothing to worry about.Vidushi is extremely detailed and understood the East Bay requirements very well. She completed the initial designs very quickly to meet our schedule. She is very responsive and every email and texts had immediate responses, even when she was on PTO. We were able to respond to any comments from the city and made updates quickly. Our permit has since been approved and we are in the process of building out the covered patio.I highly recommend Vidushi and the zHeight team for any architectural drawings and designs, engineering calculations and any questions you may have. The zHeight team is awesome and I will absolutely use them again!

From the initial consultation to the final design, the teams professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail truly exceeded our expectations.Vidushis communication throughout the entire process has been excellent. She was always prompt in responding to our questions, and clearly explained the complexities of the permitting process in a way we could easily understand. We also appreciate your attention to detail. The structural drawings are thorough, and your knowledge of local building codes and regulations was a huge asset.This was for a ADU project in Gilroy, CA so there were certain subtleties to the process but Vidushi and team communicated everything clearly and we are pretty much in the final phases of the project.Thank you for your hard work and dedication. I highly recommend Sankar and Zheight team for any design and permitting need.Their team is super reliable, easy to work with, and really know their stuff. They make the whole process smooth from planning to getting approvals.Vidushi - takes the project forward with personal interest and her team lead Sankar does as well. Both of them stood by challenging times and ensured they stood by me (owner) at all times especially when city challenges or demands corrections.
