Personal Training
While we may not be his typical clients, Nick has been able to work with us to achieve our fitness goals. We have trained with Nick for several Spartan Races over the last year and each time we have done better than the last. We went from placing bottom 80% of our M20-25 age group to in the top 20% in six months. His training methods are effective at building muscle, dropping fat, and, most importantly for myself, preventing injury. His scheduling has been flexible and he has been able to meet us at at times and locations that are convenient to us. All in all, we've enjoyed getting #swoll with Nick.

Nick is a super talented trainer who can motivate you and knows just how much to push. He's smart and very knowledgeable about kinesiology, and aware of age appropriate workouts. He is always on time and very reliable. He's patient and encouraging and has a good sense of humor to boot! I recommend him unequivocally!

Nick is awesome. Thoughtful, focused, punctual, and effective. With his training, I am already down in size and have stayed committed to the program.

I am working with Kelly Eales, a new trainer with Palladino, and she is fantastic! I've never had a personal trainer before, and was looking for support and accountability in rebuilding muscles that atrophied during cancer treatment. Kelly has been incredibly patient and supportive, while pushing me to achieve my desired results. We did a month of stabilization work as I adjusted to the exercises, and now we're doing endurance improvements. Kelly is great about explaining the goal of each exercise, helping me get the correct form, and tracking evidence of my progress (which is emotionally helpful on the days when I'm really feeling the burn!). I can't recommend her highly enough!

I don't often write reviews but Nick deserves the recognition! Not many trainers could motivate me to work out twice a week - and actually have a great time while doing it. He is highly professional, non-judgemental, and is quite funny. He must also be one of the nicest human beings on the planet - although he balances that with plenty of strictness. Lastly, he knows an obscene amount about human physiology and brings that expertise to your workouts every day. All these traits explain why I've been a client for about 5 years!

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? We offer a free consultation to anyone interested in training. In the consultation we go over things like goals, medical/injury history, current fitness level, time commitment, etc. We may also do some assessments to identify what we think needs improvement and also to get a baseline of your starting point, so we can track your progress. Next, we create a custom training plan that accounts for everything we talked about. Then we get started with the execution of that plan to get you to your goals. We don't start everyone the same way... we meet you where you're at physically and progress you from there.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Every trainer with Palladino Personal Training is a certified personal trainer. Our certifications are NCCA accredited, which means our certifications are recognized as being high quality in the fitness industry. These certifications require us to continue our education in order to maintain our credential. Besides the required fitness education through our certification, we are all passionate about health/fitness and love to read studies, articles, books, and listen to podcasts on the latest research/ideas coming out in the fitness industry.
