Our first one-hour session with Brad and Bentley, our 5 lb. Maltese, went very well. Brad was specific about his expected outcomes for Bentley and his masters. We practiced sit, stay, let's go, leave it, and variances of these commands. Brad is easy to work with, and he was gentle when informing the masters about performing a different way. He worked well with Bentley and Bentley was quite tired at the end of the first session. We would definitely recommend Pacific Coast Pet Training--Brad specifically.

Brad has been wonderful with all three of our 'challenging' dogs. We hired him for morning walking services during the week, and he incorporates training each day. Our dogs love and respond well to him, and my husband and I trust and feel comfortable with him. We're happy to have found him here!

I have just communicated with Brad and was extremely happy with his knowledge and willingness to assist with my needs for assistance with training a German Shepherd strong willed, stubborn and handsome. Thank you Brad for getting back to me so quickly and making my Christmas Present a reality. Gratefully, Christie

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

The most common behavioral issues that I assist with include barking, pulling on the leash, jumping and potty training.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Keep in mind that credentials can be easily purchased online and that the most important test of a trainer is his or her experience and the hands-on time spent developing his or her skillset. Brad has completed a full apprenticeship with a head trainer at a large, no-kill shelter. Brad has had the opportunity to work with a myriad of dog types and dog "issues" and has learned the most effective ways to correct the issues.
