FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It all depends on the project, but in general I approach everything first with curiosity about what the clients needs are and if they have anything specific envisioned. From there, I put great thought and care into how I can make images that are unique and special to them. While shooting, my process is fairly organic and I tend to work around whatever is unfolding with cues and direction along the way from me where needed.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I'm self-taught and I'm continually learning, experimenting and exploring all things photography and art. In addition to using a dslr, I shoot on a number of film cameras ranging from polaroid land cameras, to a 1960s 35mm to my favorite medium format camera. I've always had an affinity to photography or course, but deciding it was my time to commit to being the one to do the shooting a few years ago, that's how I got my start.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My customers range from families to couples to small clothing and hat brands. I'm open to most any type of project as long as it's in line with my style and perspective.
