Whether you need Excel for work, want to become more productive, or simply want to stop struggling with spreadsheets and start feeling confident using them, your training will focus on what you want to accomplish.
Your one-on-one Excel training is personalized to you. We'll work at your pace and focus on the skills that matter to you, rather than following a generic lesson plan. We'll use examples designed around what you want to learn, so you can practice the skills yourself and understand how to use them independently.
During your Zoom session, we'll work together on your computer so you can see how something is done and then practice doing it yourself. You'll have plenty of opportunities to ask questions, try things out, and make sure you're comfortable using what you've learned.
The goal is for you to finish your session feeling more confident and capable than when you started. Whether you're learning the basics, working with formulas, formatting and organizing data, sorting and filtering, or tackling a particular Excel skill, we'll focus on helping you build practical skills you can use on your own.

Jason is very kind and patient. I had to get some things done and I was just out of time and, quite frankly, out of patience with Google and Outlook!! Jason worked through it with me very kindly and got the entire problem resolved. I’d recommend him highly because of his knowledge but also because of his calming demeanour!!

Jason is a very patient and personable instructor. He was quick to reply when I first inquired about learning Microsoft Word, and we were able to schedule my lesson for soon after. His way of teaching by walking me through a task and then having me repeat it is very helpful for someone like me who is a visual learner, and especially by actually doing it. Jason also made sure that I understood what he was explaining before rushing on to the next thing, answering any questions as they came up. My rate is $75 per hour for personalized, one-on-one Microsoft Excel training via Zoom. I keep my pricing simple and straightforward, with one hourly rate and no packages or quantity discounts.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Before your first session, I'll ask what you'd like to learn so I can tailor the training to your goals. During your one-on-one Zoom session, we'll work at your pace using examples designed around the Excel skills you want to learn. You'll see how each skill works, practice it yourself, and have plenty of opportunities to ask questions along the way. The goal is for you to leave the session understanding how to use what you've learned confidently on your own.
