got quoted by ASI White Gloves that it would cost close to $1000 for replacement garbage disposal "but any issues we come to your house no charge!" Yeah the only time I need you out here is when it needs replacement. I went with Pipe Dream. Tomas responded right away and came out that day and we both went to Home Depot showed me a very serviceable model based on my needs I was going to get a fancier model and he said it was a waste for me. All told $150 for disposal unit & electric switch kit and $175 for labor. Tipped healthily as I was happy with the service and the guy was really cool to chat with while he worked. I probably should have left him alone to work in peace.

I was in need of replacing a number of bathroom faucets that were likely original equipment from when the house was built in 2005. I posted a project request in Thumbtack and got a few responses within minutes. Considering it was a Wed evening at 8:30PM, I expected to talk to a prospective vendor the following day. However, Tim of Pipe Dreams Plumbing offered to get on a phone call right away, and we had a good conversation of what I was looking for. Tim offered a per faucet installation rate for 4 installs. I told him I’d like to see what other vendors were offering. After getting rates from a few other vendors, I couldn’t help but think of the good call I had with Tim, and after agreeing on a revised rate, hired his company to do the installs. Our appointment was set for the following Tuesday. In the interim, Tim responded to a couple of requests, including an install for 5th faucet, as fast and friendly as our original call was. On the day of the install, Thomas showed up on time and quickly and efficiently dispensed with the installs. But here’s where their customer service really shined: during one of the installs, it was discovered that of the sinks had a small chip that prevented a flush connection between the faucet and the sink. Thomas had another appointment to get to, but my wife ended up speaking to Tim, and later that afternoon, Thomas returned, with silicon caulking in hand, and sealed the gap between the faucet and the sink. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! If you’re in need of plumbing work or other home related repair and cleaning services, be sure to give Tim a call, and trust me, you won’t regret it.
