Mike originally was hired to craft me a live edge fireplace mantle. He found an exquisite piece alder wood and he helped me select the perfect color. I fell in love with this mantle and love it more during the holidays. I loved the feel of the wood in this room so Mike crafted a built in wine rack with shelves above it in the same stain. This space was really useless and adding it to the area was so unique also functional. Months later, I inquired of Mike if he could sand down my front door. The door assembly was installed 20 years ago but the outside of the door was extremely weather and faded. The company that installed it gave me an estimate to restore it that was 5 times what Mike quoted me. Mike sanded (by hand mostly) stripped and sealed the door. It was beautiful and finished this room . Mike is truly a craftsman you cant just find anywhere. He communicates everything well during his projects and keeps you informed. I love warm natural elements in my home and Mikes work shows his skill and passion for his work.Please hire him if you want to love your unique pieces like I do!,

I work at the Japanese Friendship Garden and Museum in Balboa Park. Mike came out to work on several of our shoji screens, and we are very happy with the results. Michael designed and made a custom linen closet with a pull out hamper in my bathroom for me. He also made custom floating shelves for my kitchen. He was very easy to work with and was very patient with all the changes I asked for. He was diligent at every step of the way. He made sure everything was done exactly how I wanted it and would adjust anything that was out of place. I am so happy with everything he did. Im looking forward to working with him again to design custom closet doors in the future.
