I had originally found they great folks on Thumbtack; after reading about the very positive reviews they have on Thumb Tack, I decided to give them a try as I was looking for a very affordable solution to my previous HVAC Installer and Maintenance service company. Straight Shooter was very accommodating with scheduling availability. I booked an appt and received a few text messages for confirmation of service date an a reminder 24 prior to the appt date. (Love it when Communication works) Aaron called about 30 minutes in advance to make sure I was home and advised that he would be arriving in about 15-20 Which was right in line with the 11:00-12:00 appt time. I was more than impressed with Aaron's professionalism and knowledge, he asked me a few questions and then he dove right into the service and inspection he made some very helpful mentions about some option items that could be added to my system after I explained that my wife sufferer from allergies and keeping the air quality in our home was important. Aaron explained how each alternative item could enhance the air quality Absolutely ("ZERO" Pressure to do anything beyond the scope of what was discussed for this service visit. I truly appreciated that as I think most people would. We all know the SHYSTERS in this industry and these folks are not part of that mentality. These folks are more about capturing a customer and maintaining a long-term positive relationship with the people they serve. Straight Shooter is all in their name because that was the experience I received and I'm sure you will as well. "It's how they run their business" Props to Aaron! I’m a new home owner and was trying to get a washer installed. Frank came out and patiently took his time to diagnose the issue, ensuring that we had all the information and evidence needed to decide what to do next. Turns out, our new home which was built in the 1950s had cracked and corroded cast iron pipes throughout the house and in our front yard. Obviously, this is an incredibly stressful and worst situation for any new home owner to discover, and had to replace asap. Frank, his manager, and the rest of the team at HSR&P were so empathetic, efficient and very professional. They completely fixed my issue in two days, just in time for my previously scheduled appointment with movers. Tytum was one of 3 companies I called for bids and I couldnt have been happier landing with them. Out of 3 bids, they were the best quote by far for a central AC system install. They were prompt, professional and completed quickly and in such a clean, well-finished manner. My condo is now ice cold! In addition to this, it was such a pleasure working with Daniel at their office who went above and beyond, helping me out tremendously with returning the original mini split system. Zhenis communicated directly with my tenant, did the diagnosis, was courteous, called me to explain the findings and gave me options to consider. I ultimately decided to replace the AC condenser, coil and furnace since 2 other companies I contacted said the AC system was bad and the furnace was old. Zhenis felt the most straightforward and non-salesy in this process.The price quoted was competitive and the communication was great.
