We've just made the decision to go with Javier. We judged like-qualified competing bids based on:
1) Experience & knowledge they could share with us during the walk-through. Javier clearly understood what we wanted to accomplish, which reflected in our conversations and in his bid structure.
2) Clarity of the bid as it related to our decision making process. We wanted bids for each room or project within the home, and we wanted it for a finished product in each case. Javier's bid was simple and straight-forward, detailed by room or project, each with all-in finished work pricing.
We'll see how they do on the execution, but with this start they've earned our highest marks.
