For the past 30+ years I’ve been working in the Electro Mechanical Engineering field. During the majority of that time, outside of my 9-5, I enjoy helping many of my friends, neighbors and others to design, start and finish various levels of home projects. I enjoy working with my hands in general and also love problem solving. I believe my engineering background has helped me to excel in the area of home projects great and small. In addition as a home owner and Owner/Builder I have a comprehensive understanding behind how to do things the right way i.e. according to industry practices and codes. Due to my background I don’t cut corners which tends to add some extra time and an additional step or two but in my experience it’s well worth the extra effort!

We spoke with a few contractors but went with Bonita due to the prompt communication and competitive quote. Ramon thought that he had the correct window/ frame in stock but ended up having to order it, which took 30 more days to complete the job. Even though there was a bit of a mixup with expectations and timeline, the job was completed at a very reasonable price.

I have used Bonita Engineering & Design on two separate occasions. The first project was a remodel of my large laundry room. All of the work was done in a timely manner and at the end of the day, the place was left clean and ready for the next day. The existing ceiling was removed. Everything was rewired and flush LED lights were installed in a beautiful shiplap ceiling. One of the best parts of working with BE&D was the quality of the work. I'm not exaggerating when I say that the job was completed with the dedication and skill of a craftsman. Just recently, I needed only one wall of my bedroom painted. Small job but the same dedication to a job well-done.
