Dishonest, unreliable and ripped me off. After 10,000 in progress payments Deluxe Painting abandoned the job and left extensive expensive damages to my home. Both front and back doors were damaged by the crew and will not close, the house can’t be locked or secured until both doors are repaired. Every light lense in kitchen were broken—5 total. The brand new carpeting they installed on the deck looks ruined upon installation because the glue bled through the carpet and it is ruined wasting thousands. Door knobs reinstalled after paint were all installed crooked and lopsided. Light switch plates reinstalled crooked and lopsided in every room. Deluxe Painters damaged their own paint job by piling trash 5 feet high against freshly painted White House scuffing the entire wall and now I have to repaint it. Very bad experience, lost thousands of dollars and now have to repair everything Deluxe Painters damaged throughout the entire house. Don’t let his good references convince you to hire him because he doesn’t operate honestly or with integrity and will abandon your job after progress payments near the end. I am a retired CEO from high rise construction and recognize quality trades, this is not a quality vendor and appears to be chasing the next better paying job before he finishes his current job. Apparently $10,000 cash I paid did not provide enough incentive and I also offered another home for full paint job immediately after this one and they still abandoned my job. Consumer beware.
