FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I base my pricing off of products used and time it will take to complete the project. For example, if there is extensive matting or that coat is compacted it will take more time to shave under the matts/brush the animal out and cause me to add other steps to the grooming process (which extends the time of the overall service).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to know how the client likes their dog to look and, if it's something I can make happen, I will. I will not extensively dematt a dog and cause it unnecessary pain and suffering when hair will grow back. Humanity before vanity.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Technical on the job training with a master groomer who'd been grooming 30+ years and specialized in poodles. Being in the grooming industry you never stop learning new techniques or styles, a good groomer is always looking to perfect their skill.
