Introduction: I have a secondary teaching credential, have painting classes for 10 years at Michael's and have given many private lessons either in the client's home or my own.
I have also taught an art segment to a home school classroom of students, giving them the basics of art. I can start with beginners as well as intermediate students, tailoring the curriculum to their level and desires to learn.

I asked Patty to work with my 89 year old mom who has low vision and hearing and is just starting with Alzheimer's. Mom used to paint and wanted to try it again - but her ability is limited. Patty was extremely patient with Mom and helped her start to paint a gorgeous portrait of her beloved dog Dakota. She needs a lot of help and Patty was there to give it to her. We plan to have her come back to continue to help mom as this activity gives her so much happiness and self confidence.
