Hello! I’m Rylie. I’m a Bartender, Website Designer, Personal Chef, Nutrition Consultant & occasionally work as a Private Yoga Teacher. I do it all, and I do it well. I’ve been in the kitchen since I was about eight years old. A few decades later I’ve amassed quite a bit of career experience, as well as a cookbook collection of about 300. When I was younger I was diagnosed with Type II Diabetes, and through nutrition studies and lifestyle changes I managed to reverse it, heal my blood sugar and lose a ton of weight. I’ve thrown pop ups, and recently helped launch a small restaurant and bar in Seattle as the menu creator and chef. Now I’m here in San Diego because I want to raise my baby girl by the beach, and I’m looking for a handful of clients to prepare delicious food for! I specialize in organic, allergen friendly cooking but can cook just about anything. Let’s build your custom menu together! Oh, and did I mention that I do the grocery shopping too? As far as certifications go, I have a current San Diego Food Handler’s Card, am nearly finished with my Nutrition Certification from Nhi, and have my RYT200 for yoga. In terms of personal experience, I have healed my blood sugar and quit Metformin, healed my digestive issues for which I was previously hospitalized, and lost and kept off 40+ lbs.
