Introduction: Hi, I’m chef Jarryd of Tableside Private Dining. I have a culinary arts degree and 10 years experience in the restaurant industry. I’ve always had a passion for food and seeing how it can bring people together and Tableside let’s me do that in a more intimate setting. Our concept is bringing the restaurant to the comfort and privacy of your own home. We take care of everything- from setting up the table and ambiance beforehand to all of the clean up afterwards, leaving you free to relax and enjoy your company.

Overall incredible experience!! The Tableside team truly brought a luxury dining experience into our home! Their professionalism and responsiveness throughout the entire process was incredible. We had guests with a range of unique dietary requests and all of them were met flawlessly. Having Tableside take care of the dinner prep, table presentation and perfectly timed serving between courses allowed us as hosts to enjoy the time with our guests rather than spending the night in kitchen. The food was incredible! Every course was perfectly prepared and complemented the dinner as a whole. The servings sizes were generous as well. Don’t skip the desserts! When dinner was over we were able to continue to sit and enjoy our company because the Tableside team took care of ALL of the cleanup. As smoothly as they set up, they also cleaned and carried away everything. No trash, no dishes, no messy kitchen. We will absolutely use Tableside again! The value was well worth it. There’s no way we could have gone out to dinner and found this level of quality for a comparable price. Absolute professionals that helped us create a night we will never forget! It was an absolute treat to be able to enjoy an evening with Tableside.SD! Our menu was absolutely incredible, my favorite was my halibut entree!! I love seafood and adored a non steak protein option. From start to end our experience was easy, fun, and felt safe and a different way to celebrate! Such a joy to be among friends and just soak in the evening, and that even included our hostess!!!

From start to finish the entire table side experience provided by Chef Jarryd was out of this world! The thought and care put into every detail from gorgeous table settings, carefully curated menu and cocktail pairing, set up, cleanliness and pack out far exceeding my expectations. Chef Jarryd is professional and wildly talented creating a business around his passion and providing the most personal, intimate experience in your home. I will certainly be booking table side for future events.

Jarryd was a pleasure to work with. He was able to provide me with excellent quality service for a last minute request. He was very responsive and on time did all of the deliveries, he created a custom menu and was able to make quick changes upon request. It was A delight to work with him and I will definitely use him again when I need a personal chef in the La Jolla area.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We start our three course meals at $80+ per person depending on menu and amount of courses.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to create a menu "with" the client and with the clients vision in mind. We take care of everything from the table setting to cleaning and sanitizing your kitchen afterwards. With Tableside we want our customers to feel completely stress free and able to enjoy the event that they are hosting.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have gone to culinary school in Buenos Aires, Argentina and have worked in San Diego for over 10 years in the restaurant industry. After working in such high volume restaurants for so long I felt I started to lose that connection to the customer which made we want to start Tableside. I have a passion for serving people great food and creating that restaurant feel to the comfort of your own home.
