- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Please see pricing details in my 'About' section above! I welcome small and large-scale projects. Additional fees may apply for travel outside of San Diego county, materials, or rush requests. I always communicate any pricing changes upfront so there are no surprises. Questions or just curious? Reach out! I'd love to learn more about your project ideas + needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Step 1) Initial Consultation: free! We start with a conversation to understand your goals, preferences, needs, and any challenges in your space. This will take place virtually over a video or phone call. Step 2) Assessment & Proposal: I assess your space (or review photos/plans) and provide a customized proposal outlining services, estimated timeline, and pricing. Step 3) Deliverables & Implementation: From concept to reality! I will work my magic in-person or virtually/remote, sending you your design, and coordinating with vendors or contractors if needed. Step 4) Review: We will review the space together in-person or virtually to ensure it meets your needs. Step 5) Aftercare: I won't leave you hanging! I will provide tips, strategies, and suggestions to help you love your space long-term.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My formal training and degrees in interior design, psychology, and public health give me a unique perspective on how humans interact with a space. I have a strong design sense and intuition, so I know how to make sense of the chaos! This combination of education and experience helps me better understand who I'm designing for whether it be for a remodel, closet clean-out, and more.
