Introduction: I have been in business as a pet sitter since 1999. I have built a clientele who always use my services. They know I go the extra mile to care for their pets. They are always willing to share their experience of my services with new clients. I also continue to educate myself with new technologies. I am very kind and patient with sick and suffering animals.

I have used Man Friday Pet Care for years to care for all of my animals. He is the only person I trust to take care of my dog. At times he has cared for my chickens, cats, and lovebirds. If you want the best in pet care, call Man Friday.

Keith has been petsitting our two boys (dogs) for many years now; I don't know what we would do without him. He is honest, reliable and very patient with our elderly pug. I would gladly recommend him to anyone in need of a caring petsitter.

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I came to San Diego 24 years ago, from London, England. My first job was working in a health care facility in East County San Diego. After working in health care for eleven years, I decided a change was in order. As I have an affinity with caring for people, I decided to extend that facet of my personality to pet care. Thus, Man Friday was created in 1999!

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

In home overnight pet care. Dog walking. Check on pets while owners are at work. Transporting sick animals to the vet. Giving prescribed medication to pets when the owners are unavailable. Care for aging dogs and cats.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure that your pet and pet sitter are compatible. Check references. Check that your pet sitter is fully insured (and bonded if they have employees)
