FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My price for the most part does not change if possible. Each training session is $60 per session. I am willing to book multiple sessions per customer only after the first meeting has been done and at least 2 training sessions have been done and have gone well. The number of training sessions depends highly on the dog and the owner. Normally I think the number of sessions will depend on what you the owner wants to be done or the kind or training I should say that we will be doing. Each session also depends on what will be done that day so sessions range from 1-2 hours. The more stubborn the dog is the longer the sessions I mostly tend to stop after 2 hours and then just give homework to the owner. I will show the owner how to do the homework and have them show me that they understand what it is and what they are expected to work on while we wait for the next session. The more stubborn the dog the more sessions the dog will need. It also depends on if the owner does the homework as giving with the right amount of practice time. If it is a well behaved not to stubborn of a dog homework could be anywhere from 1-2 times per day 15-20 minutes each. The more stubborn the amount might be 3-4 times per day with at least 30 minutes to 1 hour each time. This might seem long and trainers might tell you its to long but in my very small amount of experience sometimes longer is good. Payment will be due on the day of the training session and will be giving before the training session starts. I take cash, check and I take ******. My administrative support services start at $40 per hour, with pricing customized based on the details of each project. Standard tasks—such as data entry, filing and organization, transcription, and word processing—typically fall within the base rate. More detailed, specialized, or time-intensive projects, including complex document formatting, large-volume record organization, or same-day requests, may be quoted at a higher rate. I always review the scope of work first and provide clear, upfront pricing so you know exactly what to expect, and I’m happy to discuss the details to ensure the cost is fair and transparent for every client.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When meeting new customers I would like to meet them where the sessions will take place get to know them and the pet so I can make a plan and get a feel for what I am in for. I then will go over pricing, how payments work, then meet the dog and talk to the owner about what kind of training needs to be done. Once I have this information I will then test the dog to see how he or she responds when giving commands and being told what to do only when I have a sense of how the dog responds can I start making a plan with them. For the administrative service when working with a new customer, I begin by discussing the details of the task so I can fully understand your goals, timeline, and expectations. Once I know what you need, I outline the best approach, provide clear pricing, and answer any questions you may have. From there, I gather any necessary documents or instructions and begin the work with careful attention to detail. Throughout the process, I keep communication open, provide updates as needed, and make sure you’re comfortable with each step. My goal is to make the experience simple, organized, and stress-free from start to finish.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm not trained in any way shape or form but being a pet owner myself and having family and friends with pets I help them with some of their needs. My uncle had a dog who he literally said could not be trained he tried to train him with treats but it just didn't work. So while I was down in Wisconsin visiting him I decided to offer my training services. Within minutes this dog that would not stay in 1 place, would stay and come. I spent about 30 minutes to a hour give or take with this dog with them watching. They could not believe what they were seeing, even their cat wanted in on the training. Sadly I couldn't stay forever so I showed them what to do and told them to get the 2 longest leash they could find each would take 1 and have the dog come to each of them going back and forth at home then moving outside. As far as I know he is a very good dog now who listens to them on and off the leash and comes when called.
