- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from San Diego State University with a B.A. in Journalism/Media Studies, as well as a minor in Rhetoric and Writing Studies. I also took extra courses in web development, SEO and social media management.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My first working experience in digital marketing was in 2012 when I interned at the Spanish Village Art in Balboa Park, where I managed the organization's Twitter account. I really enjoyed creating content for the Spanish Village and decided to volunteer at The Reuben H. Fleet Science Center. This was a fantastic opportunity to write for their blog, handouts and receive hands-on experience with Google Analytics.
