Introduction: I've been a medical transcriptionist in an acute care hospital setting and also and independent contractor for two hospitals for over 40 years; I type over 100 words/minute with 98% accuracy. I retired at age 62 but looking for some part-time work to fill my time during the week.
I'm dependable, well disciplined, have a great work ethic and actually miss the transcription field. I've used Medi-Tech, ChartScript, EScription, Dictaphone platforms and have Windows 7 Home Premium, earphones and an Infinity pedal.
