Hi, my name is David, and I’m a professional door installer with 18 years of experience. Over the years, I’ve completed 1,500+ door installations, including many different types of doors and many “not-so-simple” situations. If you’re looking for someone who knows how to solve door-related problems — not just install a door and hope for the best — I’m the person you need. When you hire me, you don’t have to stress about whether the job will be done correctly, where to buy the right door, what hardware you need, or whether the door will actually fit. My goal is to make the whole process simple, professional, and stress-free for you. I also sell high-quality doors that I can deliver and install for you. Just to be honest upfront: if you’re looking for the cheapest price on the market, I’m probably not your guy. My prices are fair, but I don’t do “$50 miracle jobs.” Good door work takes experience, the right tools, and attention to detail — and that’s exactly what I provide. Here is my basic price list: All standard installations include hinge and handle/lock installation. Interior door slab replacement: $250 Prehung interior door installation: $350+ Exterior door replacement: $400+ Prehung exterior door installation, including frame and casing: $550+ Shower door installation: $350 Sliding shower door installation: $450+ Security door installation: $200 Screen door installation: $170 I also work with custom doors, custom door jambs, closet sliding doors, sliding glass patio doors, and honestly — if it has the word “door” in it, there’s a very good chance I can help. I provide free estimates. Please, if you’re looking for a $50 or $100 door installation, I completely understand — but I’m not the right fit for that type of job. I focus on quality work, proper installation, and long-term results.

David was very responsive from the start and provided us with a reasonable quote. He was on time for the job and even gave us some advice on how we might save money if he did the job slightly differently. He also cleaned up after himself before leaving. The interior door he installed looks and functions great. I would definitely hire him again.

My new side door installation went perfectly! David was very responsive long before coming to do the actual work. He helped me with many questions I had about which door to buy for my particular situation which helped a lot! He arrived 10 minutes early on install day, and was super professional about everything. I knew I was in good hands from the start. Some people you can just tell. David is very down to Earth and really easy to work with. He ran into a couple of small issues with the install, and needed to make TWO trips to Home Depot for more trim. He had no complaints about the extra trips, and did not try to charge me more than the original quote even though he spent almost all day on the job. The new door came out great! My two little dogs really like the built-in doggy door. lol I found out David does all kinds of other work too from foundation to rooftop, so I will probably be calling him in the future for other things. I ran into a few bad contractors and tradesman in my home remodel project in the aftermath of Eaton fire, and as a result the project got delayed again and again because people don’t show up when they say they will while juggling around jobs. So that’s what motivated me to look for skillful person like David to fix the loose ends and move my remodel forward. I initially reached out to David to replace a few interior doors. He’s very knowledgeable and responsive and prices seem fair. He even taught me where to go get nice doors at a great value. Comes to the day of the install, David showed up on time, knew what to do and was very respectful of the home and its current condition. He and his assistant has proper woodworking tools and has good craftsmanship in the trade. The doors looked great and we are very pleased. Whenever I run into delays I would message him to ask for alternatives and he always have a solution. Later in the project I also asked him to return to work on patching my original baseboards and installing a few light fixtures in the house. He’s always patient, professional and trustworthy, which already beat out more than half the contractors and tradesman I had to work with. Highly recommended in wood working and detail work
