- Andra H.
We love working with Corina! She is extremely detail oriented, knowledgeable and reliable. Her architectural expertise and consideration of our needs for our home addition and remodel made us really confident of the final product, and she had alternatives prepared in case of permit delays or cost overreach. She goes above and beyond to inform us of what to expect and to help us stay within our budget. We're very lucky to have her guide us, not just on architecture and plans, but as a knowledgeable professional in the confusing world of construction contractors and permits. If any future projects arise, we very much hope to continue working with her.

FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My hourly fee is $120, and my fee is billed monthly or immediately upon completed work, depending on project scope. All charges will accumulate up to a maximum fee, which is usually a set percentage of the estimated or confirmed construction cost. I require a signed agreement bore commencing work, and invoices are due within 30 days.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I cannot stress enough the importance of asking the right questions. My goals is to help you uncover the best possible project for you, your style, and your budget, a reflection of you. For that, I am known to provide options during the design process. Partially due to my experience in affordable housing development, I also pay close attention to setting realistic and achievable budget expectations. CDA does that through careful consideration of contractor bids, but also flexibility in our design, and permitting process. A successful project lies in the details, and close communication continues throughout the project, and ideally after that too.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Bachelor of Science and Master of Architecture. Certified Green Building Professional. Licensed Architect in CA, and AIA member.
