Hi, I’m Ami, a Bay Area-based artist with over 10 years of experience in 2D and 3D art. I have a BA in Studio Art and an MFA in Animation, and I’ve worked on everything from games and feature films to pet portraits and brochures.
I’m passionate about turning everyday moments—people, bugs, pets, and bits of self—into imaginative visuals. I usually start with sketches on paper, then develop them using tools like Procreate, ZBrush, acrylics, or colored pencil. My work blends technical skill with curiosity, always chasing new ways to bring ideas to life.

I found Ami's work online on Instagram and immediately fell in love with her unique style. I reached out with a commission for a stylized self-portrait for a birthday party invitation and she responded immediately.
Ami was very encouraging of what I was asking for and was happy and patient to offer a few different variations as we explored ideas together. When I asked for her input, she was keen to help and let her creativity flourish which ultimately made the final result infinitely better.
I'm in awe of the artwork that Ami was able to create.
Having the ability to work directly with a talented artist is a privilege. When that artist is someone who is encouraging of your vision and has the skill and inspiration to build on it to create something unique, that's a special honor.
I will certainly work with Ami again in the future and hope to someday have her art on my walls.
