I originally hired Edwin and team to repair a leak on the side entry of my Victorian home. The project involved replacing the rotting door jamb, repairing interior finishes that were water damaged, and replacing some damaged exterior siding while installing flashing to prevent later leaks from forming. The team was very professional and treated my house well while moving/protecting furniture. And the work looks great - interior looks brand new and better than before the repairs. We hired them again to come back and do some exterior maintenance replacing rotted wood sections and deteriorated paint, and again feel the work quality was great and looks seamless with the rest of the house.

We had a small deck installed at the front of our house to level things out. He worked with the other contractor installing the guard tail fence to create a seamless and wonderful creation that exceeded our expectations! We also had his team create a custom built bin shed that fit perfectly! It also exceeded our expectations in craftsmanship and is a beauty to look at.
We will call Edwin again for our next project.

Had a great experience with Edwin! Needed to replace a metal cap above a door, which involved also removing and replacing some siding.
I received a clear quote with all the promised services, all of which were delivered on time. The replacement looks great and the paint is matched correctly!

I hired Edwin and his team to change a door out. Our bathroom door used to swing out into the hallway, blocking traffic. His team switched it to swing into the bathroom now. I cannot believe how beautiful it looks. Not a seam, or scar. It’s as if the door had always swung inwards. They moved the hinges on the door, the kick plate on the door jamb, the door jamb itself, and even corrected the door frame that wasn’t completely square. They puttied, sanded, and painted and even dried the paint so it didn’t rub off on us or our dog. The team was very courteous to me as we work from home, and were great with our dog too. They covered the floors in paper and cleaned up when finishing for the day, storing their gear in an out of the way corner. They showed up on time and ready to work every day. A great, personable team with high professionalism and excellent results. Edwin came by in person to give the quote, introduce me to the team when they arrived, and after the job was finished to do a final inspection. Edwin is excellent. Highly recommended.

I live in San Francisco and don't have air conditioning so I wanted to add a screen door to my back door to get a cross current in my living area during the hot days we experience here. The only problem was that I had measured the area for the screen door and it didn't seem to fit into any of the standard screen door sizes.
Edwin came in took the measurements and gave me an estimate at no cost. Then Edwin's crew bought a standard door, installed it and used door seal to get a tight fit. It's perfect.
Another firm on Thumbtack that advertises estimates at no cost told me that they would charge $150 for the estimate since it didn't seem to be a standard door size. They said they would deduct the estimate cost from the bill if I gave them the project. They also said I would have to order a custom door.
Go with Edwin. You won't regret it.
