Tom not only responded to my request for handyman services quickly, he was really easy to communicate with via text and calls. He showed up for our appointment early, was an attentive listener when I walked him through the project we needed done, and he helped us find the right materials cost effectively. I needed custom shelves for two cabinets and I thought I knew exactly what I needed. Tom responded to the request and walked me through options and quotes. He was able to turn the project around practically over night! When he arrived he discovered a problem with my measurements and offered to go back for quick adjustments. Tom was very cool with the changes and I learned a bit about custom cabinets. He returned a couple days later to complete the job and it turned out great. Now, we're looking at other projects around the house.

Tom was excellent, he brought all the necessary equipment (drop cloth, ladder, stud finder, etc) to install our chandelier. He was timely and pleasant to work with. He has strong attention to detail (eg, made marks on our ceiling with a pencil and made sure to erase all of the marks after the install). Of all the quotes I received on Thumbtack he was the most competitively priced and provided a custom response and not the generic response from most of the other contractors. Would highly recommend and hire again. Of note, he is a very good wood work artist and we plan to hire him for another project in the near future.
