Straw's catering team anchored our wedding and reception with fantastic food, drink, and service. We had a cocktail hour with passed appetizers, followed by a seated, family style reception. Guests raved about the quality and creativity of the food. Straw also provided the beverages: beer & wine, plus a delicious strawberry basil lemonade. Their options for the beer were particularly excellent - Flying Dog and Fin du Monde were among the choices. Incredibly, Straw was also among the most reasonable of all the caterers we spoke to. Most caterers, upon hearing our budget, said something along the lines of "well, MAYBE we can do that..." When I told Kristin our budget her response was "We can DEFINITELY work with that." Kristin was an amazing show-runner who was responsive and communicative leading up to our wedding, and then executed everything flawlessly on our wedding evening. We had a few last-minute changes and requests, and she handled them very graciously. Being in such good hands meant we were able to enjoy our evening to the fullest without needing to worry about a single detail.

My name is Kimberly, and I have been working with Straw Catering now for two years. I would recommend their services to anyone; whether it be a small, private wedding or a large, corporate party! My most recent experience with Straw: I rented out a small, private venue in Union Square on behalf of my corporation and asked Straw to cater the event. Their food is very creative and their prices are competitive. The venue presented to us many challenges, but the catering manager visited the site before I did and made changes to the menu and our plan to accommodate those challenges.

After searching for a caterer for our wedding dinner, I was so relieved to find Straw. The other caterers I reached out to were non-responsive and dismissive. Kristin at Straw was so nice, responding quickly to my inquiry; we set up a tasting and were blown away by how delicious and creative the menu was! Our wedding dinner was perfect, all of our guests were raving. Their food is fantastic, service is great, and they were flexible in their offerings (we had a vegetarian dinner). Highly recommend Straw!

I ordered Straw Catering for a work Happy Hour. I originally wasn't planning to attend the event, so it was great to know that they would take care of all the setup in my absence. I was able to attend the second half of the event so I got feedback of the food from my colleagues on the spot - they LOVED it!! The biggest hit of the night was the Ringmaster in Training - the bite-sized doughnut cheeseburgers. My team went crazy for them and has requested Straw for future events. Thank you Straw team!
