Introduction: I provide new, creative plates with healthy nutrition cooked from the heart! Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Chef Ghazwan Alsharif. I have over nine years of multitasking professional experience in the kitchen. One of my greatest strengths is the ability to be versatile as I have a broad range of skills. Not only can I cook with an eye for creativity, but I'm also pragmatic when it comes to cost controls, kitchen and staff organization. Additionally, I'm comfortable in both high-volume cooking environments as well as gourmet kitchens. My specialty is pastry/catering/international food and more into Mediterranean/Middle Eastern with a unique menu. I have been commended several times by my managers for saving money, including the rebuild of a whole kitchen at the highest standard. My experience also includes catered events of up to 2,500 people for such well-known names as Bon Appetit, Twitter, Google, the mayor of San Francisco and private homes. Prior to relocating to the U.S., I was an entrepreneur and also ran restaurants in Iraq. I have extensive experience and am passionate about health and nutrition. I prefer to focus, when possible, on seasonal, local and organic ingredients. My experience also includes alternative ingredient baking and pastry plus special dietary needs.
