My wife and I were concerned with the state of our redwood deck that was over 40 years old. We asked three contractors for bids to repair or replace it. The first two told us the deck needed to be replaced and named head-spinng sum (to be expected in the sf Bay Area). But Carlos, first, throughly inspected the deck then told us that it was still in good shape and quite stable. He was thoroughly professional and pleasant. As two professionals ourselves, we are very impressed with the way he advised us to think about the deck. His appraisal saved a great deal of money. Next time we need a contractor for construction, we will call Carlos first.

Carlos and his team at Structoris were the contractors for our backstair renovation, and they did an outstanding job—the stairs turned out beautifully. While Structoris wasn’t the cheapest option, we chose them because Carlos made an excellent impression from the start. Carlos and his team did a great job building our back stairs. They did quality work in a timely fashion. Carlos was always available to answer questions and provide updates on the progress. As in most projects, some small issues came up along the way. Carlos addressed them immediately and made sure things were done right. You can tell he stands by his work and is a person of integrity.
