Introduction: I am deeply honored to be invited by clients to help them on their journeys and feel immense joy witnessing the healing and transformative process of psychotherapy. I have an endless interest in human behavior and relationships, and thrive to deepen my knowledge and understanding. I learn everyday from my clients and our work, I attend professional trainings, conferences, and educate myself on current research in psychology, neuroscience, and therapy. Meditation and mindfulness practice is an important part of my life that informs and supports my work.

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

Already as a child I had lots of question why people talked to each other the way they did, why they fought and pushed each other away even though they cared for each other, how people fell in love, why some kept their feelings inside, why two siblings in seemingly same conditions grew up being very different, why people believed in different things,...??? My endless interest and intrigue with human behavior and relationships, as well as the healing of my cultural and personal trauma, led me to the decision of studying psychology. Since my teenage years I have as well been drawn to contemplative traditions and have been inspired by my mentors and teachers. Mindfulness and my spiritual practice influence my work, and more then a job I see it as my path and my life purpose.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Clients come to me because they want a change in their life. They may be feeling stuck in unrewarding career, have unfulfilling relationships, feeling overwhelmed, or dealing with past unresolved experiences. I provide engaging, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where we explore together these issues, and work effectively towards their resolution. I have an integral approach, which meets the uniqueness and individual need of each client. Through our work together, clients begin to experience deeper connection and harmony in relationships and professional life, an enhanced sense of well being, increased feelings of confidence and empowerment, and an overall sense of satisfaction in their life.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

It is very important to find a psychotherapist that is right for you. But how will you know? Find someone who specializes in the treatment of issues that are bringing you to therapy, who you feel comfortable with, whose location is convenient for you, and whose fee you can afford. Psychotherapy is a valuable investment in yourself, your family, and your future, in the same time it should not be an overwhelming burden on your budget, as you might decide to continue for an extended period of time. Ask the provider questions about their training and experience of working with your issue, their therapeutic style, and anything else you want to know. For some clients it is helpful to interview or even meet several therapists before they make a decision.
