Toshi was so perfect for us and our wedding. He was really thorough and focused on making sure to capture photos we would want forever. We appreciated his awareness of what would look good since we're the type of people who were rather clueless. Toshi is easy to talk to in the planning period and very responsive. The day of was perfect because he knew exactly what to do and maintained a very independent-diligent, yet perfectly calm and approachable vibe throughout the day. Our families loved him and was so happy to have him there.Oct 25, 2017Verified
Toshi Tazawa service is amazing. From the very beginning he communicated with me about the kind of images I was looking for. My input throughout was important to Toshi and I value that also. The respect he had for any specific instructions that he needed to follow during ceremony or reception was valuable. He listened well and took into account all request. His ideas on where to take pictures are Priceless. He researched and communicated with others for the purpose of respecting all around. His turnaround time in the beginning to process pictures is exactly as he says within 48 hours. I am so happy that I chose Toshi Tazawa to be to be my photographer for my special day. I highly recommend Toshi Tazawa services!!!!!!Feb 9, 2017Verified
I can’t even begin to express the gratitude I have for Toshi and his expertise with photography. Toshi was such a blessing for my wedding. The first time I ever spoke to him, he was 100% professional. He always responded to all of my calls, texts, or emails in a very timely manner. I booked my wedding at a winery where I had never been before. Toshi offered to visit the location prior to the wedding to predetermine the best photo opps on the premises. He got back to me with his recommendations immediately which gave me a great sense of peace about the ceremony location. All brides know how important it is to have this peace. The day of the wedding, he arrived 2 hours early to set up and met with my videographer to coordinate their shooting plans for the day so that they would not disrupt each other. With each location we went to on the vineyard, he took the time to drag all of his heavy equipment around and actually remained enthusiastic through it all...even through the long stairway down the into the caves and even across a mini muddy riverbed to get to get that awesome grapevine shot. He actually almost ruined his shoes falling into the mud. He is definitely a dedicated photographer! Because we eloped, I asked Toshi if I could possibly rush him to send me at least one shot as soon as possible so that we could surprise our family and friends on social media about the wedding. We took selfies on our phones but didn't want a low quality phone pic to be the first impression of our special day. He sent us some highlight photos the very next day!! That's unheard of in the photography world!! And we were so incredibly happy to receive the remainder of our photos within one week. Our pictures are absolutely gorgeous! My cousin and his wife, who got married over 6 months ago (who did not use Toshi) still have not received their pictures from the extremely pricey photographer that they hired. I wish I would have known Toshi back then so that they could have benefitted from his awesome talent and commitment to excellence. What I love about Toshi, is that his shots are not only about capturing your special day, but he truly revers his work as artwork and therefore makes you feel like you are his priority and that your wedding is portrayed as a masterpiece! Hire him! You will not regret it!Jan 21, 2017Verified
When we first started looking for a photographer, Toshi seemed too good to be true. But If you have any doubts about using Toshi Tazawa photography, toss them aside now!!! It was such a pleasure to work with Toshi. He was accommodating, professional and was always ready with great ideas for shots. We loved his creative eye and how prompt he was with returning ANY calls, texts or emails we sent his way. I mean, it's been less than a week and he already had multiple highlight shots for us to see! I can't say enough about how much we appreciated having him be a part of our wedding. Thank you Toshi!Apr 10, 2017Verified

Toshi worked the entire day and managed to take a few unexpected shots (that were not on his shot list.) I appreciate his organization, quality equipment, flexibility and good eye.
