- Landscaping:
* sprinkler and drip system installation and repair
* tree trimming and pruning
* sod installation including ground preparation and planting
* cement, brick walkways, landings and paving stone installation
* planter boxes for vegetable gardens and flowers
* animal enclosures, dog runs, rabbit hutches, etc.
I have a professional work truck and tools for all of the above. I have very reasonable rates and can give plenty of references upon request.
I can also install and configure PC hardware, some software, memory SIMMs, PCI cards, hard drives, etc.

I hired John to work on a number of home improvement projects at first because his rates were very good given the many different types of work he could do and the amount of experience he had. Over time, I found him to be very competent, able to handle anything I threw at him. He built fences, pressure washed the house and decks, repaired and covered our gutters, built walkways through the garden, did careful garden maintenance, did some concrete work, patched our driveway asphalt, and is currently staining our decks now that summer has arrived. He works very hard, has his own tools, needs no supervision and knows how to do just about everything around the house based on his own experience. Which is perfect for me, I want to be able to just say - do this, do that, and have the job get done. John makes that happen. I recommend him highly (AFTER he's finished my decks ;-)

John is the best! He is reasonable, reliable and able to improvise. He does great work and will always go that extra step; he's a real detail man (he'e more of a perfectionist than you will ever dream of being).
Painting, windows, light electrical, deck and fence repair, replace shower doors, assemble install Ikea armoires and washing machines, replace front door, super patching and matching texture, drainage repair--intuitively understands what you want done. (our PG&E bills have been cut in half since he tightened up all of our house's loose spots)
John will get your job done, on time and at a lot less than you'd expect.

John is very reasonable in his prices. He is also very talented in his work. He can do just about any type of job you could think of. He built a garage room for me and he pays attention to detail. He is only satisfied if it is done correctly and he knows his code.

John completed a number of much-needed projects around our house. He built an amazing rabbit hutch that could second as a guest cottage someday. it keeps our little bunny trio safe from lurking raccoons in the area. He built beautiful raised garden beds and while doing so, worked an unmanageable compost pile into some rich soil for the beds. He embraced the garden project so much that he added a wonderful drip system to make my life, as a single parent, much easier. While working out my home, he fixed things that needed fixing.. fences, rotting steps, drain pipes, sprinklers.. the items are too long to list. Thanks John!

John has done home projects for me for over 20 years. His work is always done well and timely. Most recently he painted the interior of a house about two hours away and I left him at the beginning of the job and two days later it was beautiful. He had keys and full access and I trust him implicitly. He also had good suggestions for the way to fix things and notices things that I may not have seen. He is an excellent hire!
