Hired on Thumbtack
Johnny did an incredible job trimming two solid wood doors that needed to clear a rug. He is highly skilled and was great at communicating. Will definitely hire him again.

Johnny was tremendous!! He adjusted to a tricky job and didn't cut corners. His expertise shined when I thought the job was simple, ensuring my safety of a heavy mirror above my bed.
He went above and beyond, precisely changing the anchors (because I wanted it horizontal rather than vertical as it was designed), leaving the mirror and walls pristine. I am highly confident in the quality of his work.

He replaced our old toilet with the brand new electric bidet. The best seat in the house :) You can tell he knows what he is doing. He’s not fast nor slow, very thorough with his work. Professional, kept everything clean after he was done with the job, easy to talk to, super friendly kids. Highly recommend!

Needed to get some work done around the house. Everything about this exchange was perfect. He was on time, on budget and fisnished early. And that’s all you could ask for. Have some more things to do and will most definitely be calling him.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing includes base labor rate for myself along with overhead (leads cost money regardless of whether I’m hired or not, and it adds up quickly!), mobilization, and warranty work. A minimum fee of my hourly rate is necessary to cover mobilization and lead expenses for on-site estimates and will be credited to the final bill in most cases.
Interior designers are welcome to inquire about trade pricing.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I treat every project as if I were helping my own mother with a honey-do list. I make sure that expectations are clearly stated and understood and I give options that focus on quality and longevity that are to code and don’t compromise safety, while staying within the budgetary parameters.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My father was a contractor and while my high school friends were hanging out on weekends, I was working with him on commercial tenant improvements and home remodels and by 21 years of age, I was a Site Superintendent for a commercial construction firm. I was a registered contractor in Montana for almost a decade and a maintenance supervisor here in the city.
