About
My approach to image making embodies the heritage of surrealism, apparition, the emptiness of spaces, and emotion. Outside of my practice, my professional work consisted on taking photographs of seniors, engagements, and weddings for my clients. Conversely, my graphic design focuses closely on the primal form of human communication, representing concrete objects, numbers, social status, and abstract ideas and/or emotions.

Robert captured beautiful photos of our family. My son just turned 6 months old and I wanted to do a photo shoot near the Shedd Aquarium. Robert was on time, very easy to work with, and has a great eye. My husband and I are really pleased with how the photos came out, and will treasure them for many years to come. I highly recommend this talented photographer!

We had a wonderful experience working with Robert. Scheduling our photo session with him was very easy, he was flexible with timing and responded to emails very punctually. He took family photos for us and captured beautiful pictures of our two and four year old kids that do not often stay still for pictures. He worked so well with them and was a pleasure for us to work with as well. We were so impressed with the quality of his work and the pictures we received. We would highly recommend Robert and we plan to have him take many more pictures for us.

Robert did an excellent job with my headshots. I needed some shots for work on a short notice and he met me within a few days. He was patient and helped take the time to make sure we got the right shot. He also helped me make images smaller so I had the right size as I needed. Would highly recommend Robert for any of your photography needs. Super friendly and great photography.

What an amazing find Robert Tiwan Photography was! I was looking for someone who could capture the essence of my family in a non-boring, artistic way. Robert For The Win! He delivered even more than I hoped for. He was patient with my children, and great at direction. I could totally tell that he loves what he does. It shows through his work, and how effortlessly he captured our family. I will use Robert again and again. And, I already have friends interested in booking him. He's super talented, so you should probably book him before he's booked up. :)
