I feel very fortunate to have found Munjal as I felt a true connection, something I feel is critical when working with any health professional. My first attempt at finding a hypnotherapist resulted in no reply, so I was grateful when Munjal contacted me immediately after I indicated my interest. His bio seemed perfect for my situation and our initial intake interview solidified my belief that he was going to be able to help me. Over each of our five sessions (following the initial contact) he demonstrated a real attention to detail, a tremendous amount of compassion, and an ability to get me to relax and work with him on improving my life. I was probably a bit skeptical that this could be accomplished remotely through a Zoom session but I believe it was more impactful therapy because I was more comfortable and able to relax more readily in my own home. Munjal has a calming effect when speaking and sometimes lets silence do the talking during hypnotherapy. I generally looked forward to the sessions, especially when he related aspects of his own life that dovetailed with my specific condition and the approach he was taking to address it. He has given me a number of relaxation/stress reduction techniques and I plan to incorporate them into my daily life. I highly recommend Munjal as a hypnotherapist and would not hesitate to call him in the future.

I highly recommend Munjal Shah to anyone looking to make meaningful changes in their life. I originally reached out to Munjal for help with my confidence and self-healing. As we began our sessions, we also started discussing my struggles with a chronic cough, which I realized was linked to my consumption of alcohol and marijuana. Thanks to Munjal’s hypnotherapy, coupled with my own strong desire for change, I’ve seen incredible results across all these areas. Before working with Munjal, I was drinking at least ten “nips” of alcohol every night. Now, I’m down to maybe four a week, if that! I also used to regularly consume marijuana, and I’ve significantly reduced that as well. While I haven’t completely quit either, I’ve reached a point where I can comfortably socialize and enjoy myself with just a couple of drinks here and there. This progress, along with joining a dance class and buying new clothing and jewelry, has truly made a profound difference in my confidence and overall well-being. Munjal’s approach was incredibly effective, and I’m so grateful for his guidance. He helped me tap into my own inner strength and motivation, allowing me to achieve goals I wasn’t sure were possible. I had been trying for years to open doors to traumatic episodes in my life – especially the loss of my mother at an early age and the resulting feelings of abandonment and low self-esteem. But these doors remained locked and impenetrable for decades. I completely erased my mother from my mind and could not care less. But as I grew older, and after much personal growth through therapy, there was still pain, anger, fear, and anxiety because I had avoided dealing with the loss and the profound impact it had in my life. I decided that it was time to unlock that door. This is when I heard about hypnotherapy and came across the name Munjal Shah and decided to give it a try. I admit that – at first- I was not convinced at all that it would work, but after several sessions, oh boy, was I wrong! From the very first encounter, Munjal made me feel comfortable and safe, and I instantly knew I could trust him. He was calm, gracious, compassionate, empathetic and understanding as he helped me find the courage to embark on a trip to unpleasant destinations. It was not easy, but in just a few sessions I achieved a state of relaxation that allowed me to finally reconcile myself with my mother, to see her not just as a mother but also as a human being, a woman with strengths and weaknesses. Through my work with Munjal I was able to forgive her and, more importantly, to forgive myself, to love and respect myself more, and conquer some of my deepest fears. My session with Munjal was so healing and cathartic. It was my first time ever doing hypnotherapy so I wasn’t sure what to expect but I felt so safe, comfortable, and clear on what to expect. Then he led me through the session and basically immediately helped me get in touch with some powerful childhood memories I’d totally buried and had never accessed before. It was exactly what I needed to get to the bottom of deep resistance to love and intimacy I’d been harboring my whole life. I felt so much lighter and joyful afterwards. This was seriously impactful.
