- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We typically charge on an hourly basis, and bill monthly.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a personal meeting, either via zoom.com or in person, try to get an understanding of a potential client's legal issues or concern, explain the legal processes that may be involved with their particular situation, and once engaged review relevant documents and information to try to devise a legal strategy to best help or protect the client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have degrees in Civil Engineering and an M.B.A. and I typically attend about 20 hours of continuing legal education each year to keep on top of developments in the law and court system, as well as reading legal journals and newspapers in legal topics in our areas of expertise. I also research and write articles for our and other websites on topics related to the legal areas or specializations where we practice law, and occasional give talks to interested groups.
