Introduction: I offer a wealth of experiences as a coach and I bring a unique yet relevant skills to the table. I am a certified coach (CTI) and mediator (UC Berkeley). I am also a certified EQ - Emotional Intelligence- practitioner and I share my knowledge with my clients through a unique process. My sessions include creative elements such as drawings and my clients find the visual notes very useful in breaking through old ideas and other barriers. On a personal level, I appreciate and honor people, and I always celebrate the diversity of my clients. I think that the Co-Active Coaching model I am using is powerful. I specifically love the collaborative aspect of it and the fact that it addresses the client's entire life. My experience proves it again and again that all the elements of the 'pie' of our lives are tightly connected (career, spirituality, fun and recreation, family and friends, significant others, physical environment, money) and when one is out of balance it infects other categories. It is an absolute pleasure and honor to be part of someone transformation and growth. I love witnessing my clients when they identify the right career paths or when they design their lives in a way that honors their needs, values, and inspirations. I love having exceptional conversations with others and meaningful connections daily. I greatly appreciate the transparency of the process and the sheer honesty and tight connection between coach and client. In addition, unlike therapy, the impact of coaching is immediate. I've been a people manager for many years, and always tried to give the best advice I could to my team. I thought that was coaching, because I had never experienced anything else with my managers or mentors. After working with Iris, I now better understand what real coaching is! I started looking for a coach when I realized I had hit a plateau in my career and my overall happiness. There was nothing wrong, I just didn't feel like I was making forward progress. When I started working with Iris I didn't have any specific goals. She asked me insightful questions and through our discussions we identified areas I needed to think about and research more to help me better identify what I wanted to achieve and where I wanted to improve. We came up with practical homework assignments to help me better understand who I am, what I value, and my future goals. Through these discussions, homework assignments, and Iris' suggested readings and podcasts, I now understand why I react in certain situations, and have taken proactive steps to stop my bad habits. I also now understand what growth means to me, and how to take action to grow where I want to in work and in my personal life. Iris' is super knowledgable, very well-read, and asks insightful questions to help you find what questions you really want to answer, and how to answer them yourself. I've been working with Iris for several months, and plan to continue to do so. I've never considered having a life coach before, but when Iris got in contact with me back in October I was relieved. She definitely got the gist of what I was going through at the time and I couldn't for someone who was more understanding than she was. Iris is a fantastic person and a fantastic coach! I bought an 8 session package with Iris earlier this year. This was during a time that I was feeling confused by which direction to take in my career and I was overwhelmed by all of my responsibilities. I started out with a lot of areas of my life that I wanted to improve. Over the course of the 8 sessions, Iris made sure to address every single issue I had mentioned in my new client information packet (plus any others that came up along the way). Iris taught me how to set realistic, approachable goals, how to make time for those goals, and how to hold myself accountable for completing each step in attaining those goals. That was extremely valuable for me as I was severely lacking in those skills--and it has made so much difference in my productivity and happiness levels. I now approach my life with the mindset of creating the most joyful experience, and Iris really helped me figure out what that means for me. I have to say my favorite thing about working with Iris is that our coaching sessions felt like really effective therapy that ends with an action plan. Every single time that I came in feeling down, confused, concerned, unmotivated, etc.--she dug right in and helped me figure out the root of what was blocking my happiness in that moment. The insights I gained during our time have been so helpful in getting me to overcome my usual stumbling blocks. When we ended our time together, I knew that I would go back someday...I just haven't needed it yet! I'm still riding on what I learned the first time. Last thing--aside from being a great coach, she's just a cool chic! Kind, vibrant, stylin'--she is great company to have around.

I believe in flexibility and in excellence. If clients don’t feel that the process is effective, I offer a full money back guarentee. (please see note below) Regarding payments, I offer three options: 1. Ala carte - Hire me by the hour for as many sessions as you’d like Individual coaching sessions: $160/ 60 min $200/ 75 min - Discovery session 2. Packages (for individual coaching only): 6 Sessions / $900 ($100 discount includes 5/60min sessions + Discovery) 10 Sessions / $1440 ($200 discount includes 9/60min sessions + Discovery) Relationship coaching for couples: $180/ 60min $220/ 75 min - Discovery session Guarantee: I believe so strongly in this process that I offer my clients a money-back guarantee. My mission, after all, is to make you feel great! If you fully participate in this process (i.e., within the first month of our coaching relationship, you show up to the calls and do the homework) but don’t experience the benefits, you can simply let me know that the process is not working for you and I will completely refund your money. What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would highly recommend interviewing at least three professionals before choosing one. Most offer free sample sessions for that purpose- use this great gift! - Look for someone you have a great connection with. - TRUST is the base for this relationship and I believe that it has to be present in the relationship from the get go. - Come prepared to a sample session and ask detailed questions. Inquire about the model of coaching they are using as there are many methods out there. - Pay attention to your role in this relationship. Are you an active participant or passive? Who's setting the agenda? Are the assignments that you are given hitting the heart of your issues? Is there deep learning in each session and a steady progress and growth?
