Boswick the clown was amazing. We hired him for my three-year-old's birthday party we try make his birthday special every year we are adopting him and he has made such an amazing change in our lives so as you can understand every moment is precious with him his birthdays have to be amazing probably more for us. So when we started looking for entertainment I knew I wanted a clown when I spoke with David on the phone and he explained to me, because of their age he would not wear make up so not to scare them, that made no impact when he showed up he was every bit a clown and funny to the adults and the children, what went over the children's head the adults got it was interactive for everybody and always stayed in very good taste . There was no inappropriateness from him whatsoever even when joking with the adults. If I choose to hire a clown next year again it will be Boswick David hands-down I will not venture out to look for somebody else he clearly knows his craft he knows how to entertain with good taste he is prompt on time better than that he even stayed a little bit later for people that showed up late due to their own jobs but wanted to say hello to the birthday boy he made them balloons as well and did not leave until we all left the park. My interaction with him from the beginning was always professional he called me he said he would call me return calls his responses back to me were in a timely manner he was an awesome vendor to work with me I can't say enough about David. I had about 15 kids all under the age of 12 and all of them were memorized by him he kept their attention the entire time and he interacted with each child it seemed like. I'm available for a phone call reference just asked David for my phone number my name is Lena and I to use them tag for my own busine I am available for a phone call reference just asked David for my phone number my name is Lena. Thank you David for making my son's birthday so special and so memorable for all the guests but most importantly to us and our little boy you are truly a special person with special gifts.Oct 26, 2015Verified

Boswick made my son's Birthday one of the best days! Kids and adults equally enjoyed his jokes, tricks, and magic. Entertaining a bunch of 8 year old boys can be quite a handful, but Boswick handled them really well, shifting from one joke to another, from one magic trick to the next. In the end, all the kids got balloons and tons of wonderful memories.Sep 15, 2019Verified

What an entertainer! Boswick The Clown was fantastic with the kids at my son's 4th birthday party and he even had all the adults in hysterics too. He is superb with kids and really knows how to make them laugh. Actually, my son was still laughing to himself hours after the party! Boswick is very professional and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.Mar 2, 2016Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? It's pretty basic. I charge $250 an hour. Birthday parties run over an hour.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I take classes constantly. Lately I've settled into classes with a theatre company called Fools Fury. This is very complex movement training. I fail a lot but love it. I also do a lot of improvisational comedy. It makes me very sharp when I perform. A few times a year I'll take an acting class. Acting is not how I make a living but I like that I can challenge myself as a performer.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I wanted to be a clown from the time I saw Bozo the clown when I was 5. My mother took me to see the show in San Jose. I always wanted to be a clown. I had the privilege of training at Ringling Brothers Clown college. I've had the privilege of doing this for a very long time.
