Local Moving (under 50 miles)
They were great! They wrapped all of our furniture and made sure none of it was damaged. The move took longer than expected but they made sure they placed all furniture in the right spot. I would recommend!

These two men were absolutely amazing. Not only did they go above and beyond when it came to moving, but the were punctual, kind, hardworking, and deserving of the best possible tip. Would highly, highly recommend.

Local Moving (under 50 miles)
I can’t speak to the actual service of this company. After receiving the information from the app I contacted them via text message. Sorry I never got the name of the person I was communicating with. My move was very simple, packed items from my garage to a storage facility. Mostly boxes, some light furniture. I’m in Gilroy, and the storage if just a few miles away. Should have been an easy local move. We agreed on a price of $50 file fee and $90 per hour for a two man crew. The night before the scheduled move I received a text stating that the boss says it’s too much to drive from SF to Gilroy and wants to add an additional $100 for fuel!!! I refused, because they knew the address prior to giving me a quote. Then they tried to negotiate, asking if I would be willing to pay the additional cost, and not tip the workers. As if a tip was automatic! They may do great work, but the business end of the transaction killed it for me.

Local Moving (under 50 miles)
Better communication about arrival times is needed. Arriving an hour early without notice is unacceptable, and we were unprepared at that time. There was no offer to return on-time and no other effort of any sort to make this right from the movers. Movers also got lost on-the-clock and also made no offer or effort to offset this added expense. High-pressure demand for a 20% tip at the end of the job as a required fee is ridiculous, and that I had to argue with you to lower this in light of the service problem I had is also unacceptable. Your response to me was that movers are not paid adequately to afford basic necessities and need tips to offset poor wages. This is concerning on a number of levels and if true is a repulsive business practice. Also, appropriate advance notice needs to be given that you are a cash-only business. This makes for a very unpleasant surprise after a half day of moving that I’m expected to pay in all cash. That being said, furniture arrived undamaged. Movers were friendly and reasonably efficient but communication was limited to hand gestures and smiles. Overall a difficult, unpleasant experience. Price was no better than more reputable services after considering extra expenses and inefficiencies.

Local Moving (under 50 miles)
Two guys came with a smile on their faces to move my heavy furniture between apartments within SF on memorial day day no less!. When they arrived (perfectly on time) and saw my stuff and the narrow stair way they recommended 3 people but weren't able to get a third person. Still, though, they continued with the job and handled everything expertly. From wrapping, loading into their large truck, disassembly, all the way to the unloading and unwrapping and placing the furniture they got it all done with pretty much no fuss. They even helped assemble furniture they didn't move. The only critique I had was that my previous movers were able to get my old move done in 4-5 hours with the similar stuff and these guys (who were working tirelessly) took closer to 8. I didn't realize how much time was passing and this caught me by surprise since I felt they were working at a reasonable pace. Thus the price ended up being higher than anticipated which I was a bit bummed about. That said, this is a reliable and caring crew so I can recommend them!
