I could not recommend Me-Key and his team more. I had an insane amount of boxes and very large furniture, fourth floor walk up. I was very worried about protecting my stuff. They were kind, careful, helpful, fast, diligent, and great value. I had pulled an all nighter to get all the boxes packed up, and when the team arrived they could not be kinder about the state of my apartment and helping me tape up/stuff the remaining boxes. They brought all the stuff down four flights of stairs carefully without ever complaining. They helped me pack up the remaining boxes/furniture/pictures and gave advice on how to protect things for a cross country move. They kept encouraging me to sit down and let them take care of the rest. Also, Me-Key noticed holes on my wall that might make me lose my security deposit (from the pictures/TV that had been on the walls). He explained to me what I could do to fix them. When I said I wouldn’t have time, he said he would go get the stuff and do it for me after he finished his moves for the day — he came back at 10p and patched up all the holes in my walls for free and could not have been nicer about it. I feel like most moves are a terrible experience but this one was pleasant! I could not recommend this team more highly.

Mickey was extremely professional. He handled everything with care. He made sure all my items are safely wrapped to survive a long distance move. He went above and beyond to accommodate my timing - I had a previously scheduled doctors appointment, so he accommodated my timing and arrived early to my house, and finished the move efficiently. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I bring an extra guy all the time. I charge 65an hr for each and live it up to you if you think my work deserves the extra or gratitude. I work with pricing I make sure you are happy and I’m happy. Quality work is my priority first of all.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I meet the costumer break the ice. Then I ask to show me every item that getting wrapped or packed. I let them know is time for them to relax I will take over and handle everything with care. If there’s any change on the pricing I will notify the costumer asap and explain why. Everything is optional For the costumer to have the final say. I want to see them happy when I walk away and the task is complete.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I whent to some college. Only thing this type of work, you have be ready to work you’re tail of. I know math very well. I got trained by a professional mover. I’m use to wrapping furniture with shrink wrap first then a blanket to assure no damages on anything. There is a material fees so you don’t buy extra insurance.
