Quality is the name of my game whether it’s a family style home gathering, canapés for a cocktail party, or a multi-course tasting culinary adventure.
The scope of the experience I provide extends beyond food into the service realm as well. Great food is not complete without great hospitality. A well performed service during the meal as well as all the planning leading up to it is also part of the package I bring to the table.

Michael staged a perfect in-home dining experience for two. He was attentive to details you’d expect from a fine restaurant, from table setting to food presentation and pacing. His food was delicious, made of the highest-quality ingredients. At the same time, Michael’s style isn’t fussy and promotes the kind of warm and relaxed vibe you want at home. Michael maintained a professional demeanor throughout the evening, and he took time to explain the food he served. Not required but a plus, he kept a low-profile presence in the kitchen so we were barely aware he was in there. Clean-up was quick and thorough. Michael was a fantastic chef for a dinner work party I've hosted at my home. He created a delicious tasting menu while adhering to our dietary restrictions (seafood, veg). He answered our many questions regarding the dishes, sourcing, etc and helped kept our dinner energetic and interactive.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The current base price is $175 for a four course seasonal tasting menu. Additional courses or supplemental options are also available upon request.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First and foremost understanding what sort of experience the client desires and working with them to ensure all their needs and expectations are clear and understood.
From there leave the rest to me, I will consult with the client as needed up until the job is complete.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked in top kitchens in San Francisco for over 5 years from the lowest rungs on the ladder to most recently Sous Chef at a Michelin Star restaurant. I have extensive experience in all culinary techniques across many different styles of cuisine as well as sourcing and interacting directly with guests in the restaurant while cooking. If you hire me, this unique experience gives me an evident advantage among my peers.
