Monica, the owner of Aligned Spaces, is really great. She is really professional and takes her cues from her customer. I hired Monica to help me organize my Craft Room, Home Office, and Home Ceramic Studio. She had some really great ideas about how to maximize the spaces and was a super hard worker. She's super professional, very nice and easy to work with. She takes her cues from her customers. In my case, she used the storage bins that I had already purchased through the years, and we hardly had to buy any additional bins. If I had wanted the space to match, she would have located and purchased new bins for me and brought them in the next day. I chose to organize along side Monica for most of the time, but she will also do it all for you if that is what you need/want. I am over-the-moon thrilled with the results! I highly recommend Monica and Aligned Spaces.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based on a fixed hourly rate with no additional fees. Any organization solutions (e.g., bins, boxes, turntables), that are mutually agreed upon and provided by me, are billed separately.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I like to have a brief introductory phone call to ensure the project is a good mutual fit. On that call, we’ll discuss client objectives, timeline, and budget. I provide an overview of my approach, discuss rates, and answer any questions that arise. I also like to review pictures or video of the space to clearly understand the scope of the project. From there, we arrange a time for the initial session and get started!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Industrial and Operations Engineering, with a speciality in Human Factors Engineering. I spent my corporate career leading teams of usability specialists to help make products and spaces more efficient, easy to use, and satisfying.
