Introduction
I have over four years of hands-on experience organizing bedrooms, kitchens, closets, playrooms, offices, and garages. I can help you declutter, consolidate, find a "home" for everything you own using the space you have, measure and shop for products, and design your space with more intention. I am very experienced in file folding clothes (Marie Kondo's method) for clients who need help with wardrobe management, and in addition to helping you tackle any organizing project, I can also help with things like: hanging command hooks, art hanging advice, furniture layout suggestions, cord and cable management, creative product recommendations for you based on my depth of knowledge in the home goods space, hiring and managing other professionals (handymen, furniture assemblers), and more. I also hold two degrees from Stanford University in human-centered design with a minor in psychology. In line with Mari Kondo's philosophy, I love to help clients center the things that are most used and bring them the most joy. Everything we do will be tailored to your desired balance of aesthetic and function.

Joy worked miracles in our garage. In about 6 hours total, she accomplished what would have taken us months, if not longer, to get done. She has a great eye and is able to look at a space and make smart assessments about what will make it more efficient and pleasing to be in. She worked really quickly (always a plus when you are paying by the hour!) and made things easy for us by sending links to products that she thought would work well for us, ordering products (and offering to return them if they didn't work out!), and bringing everything over to our house. She even took bulky trash/items out of our garage to the dump. I'd recommend her work unequivocally to anyone who has a home organizing project. We are so glad we found her!

My craft room is so much more organized now and everything has a place. Joy is a great motivator and knows all the right tools to separate and organize things while also keeping aesthetics in mind. We laid out goals for the room before starting and she helped me hit each one!

This was my first experience hiring a professional organizer, and up until this point I had primarily relied on books/youtube/instagram/podcasts for help with these kinds of tasks. So it was transformative to work alongside a real person on these tasks. Joy was gentle and kind in her approach, and quickly jumped into the work. We started off working along side each other to declutter and then once she had a sense of what kind of issues we were dealing with, she began to make some overarching strategy suggestions. She also advised us during a move, including helping us design some storage options for our new place (a small apartment housing two adults, two toddlers, and a dog). Was an awesome experience. Highly recommend.

Joy has wonderful ideas for organizing that are not only beautiful but functional as well. We have two young children and all the organizing she has done for us has been fantastic and super helpful. She created a system and a place for everything!

Joy is exceptional! She really takes the time to get to know her clients, and commits to ensuring that your space is perfectly designed and organized for you and your needs. Prior to our session, she spent time with me asking me detailed and pertinent questions about how I live in my space, and worked up design docs and furniture suggestions before she even arrived. Her process was still lightweight enough that it didn't feel like a huge lift for me, but clearly enabled her to get a great sense of how I operate and what I really wanted to get out of enhanced organization. During our session she was super friendly, professional, and organized (which I guess is to be expected!) and adapted quickly to slight changes in her plans as we explored the space together. After our session she sent me a detailed doc with measurements and suggested furniture/organizational pieces, and has continued to send me tips and recommendations as she comes across similar issues or spaces with her other clients. I love having the flexibility to design my own space, under expert advisement, and I feel that because I was involved and engaged in the process I can maintain the organizational techniques she used in my space. Thanks Joy for a terrific experience!
